EC Systems took part in international fair and conferences the EWEA 2014 Annual Event, which was held on March 10-13. The event was organized by the European Wind Energy Association.
EWEA annually attracts key manufacturers and suppliers from over 60 countries of the world, presenting the latest products and solutions dedicated to the renewable energy industry. Like in previous years, a selected European city hosted the exhibition. This year it was sunny Barcelona.
During the fair EC Systems showed VIBstudio WIND, an innovative solution for condition monitoring and diagnostics of wind turbines. The presented system enables registration of highest quality diagnostic data and its real-time verification to avoid generating false alarms. Moreover, it provides precise information about technical condition of drive train elements such as bearings, shafts, gearboxes, and generator based on advanced analysis of vibration signals coming from them.
EC Systems booth was very popular among the visitors who willingly inquired about the presented product. The most interesting thing for them was the opportunity to test the functionality of the presented system by using... a hammer. In this unusual way, they could see how the presented software minimizes number of false alarms, saving time and money for operators of wind turbines.
Participation in the EWEA 2014 Annual Event was a great opportunity for us to present this new solution, to exchange views and obtain business contacts.
We are looking forward to the next edition of EWEA Annual Event, which will be held in Paris in 2015.
